Here are a few of the beautiful albums we provide. You can choose from "Coffee Table" style albums and traditional albums. Each album is individually designed to suit your taste. We also make Parent's Albums of varying sizes, as small as 3.5 x 3.5 inches. We've looked the world over to bring you the most incredible selection of wedding albums. Each album we create is truly a work of art and something you will cherish. These albums are meant to be kept out and will truly be a conversation piece for all who look at it.
Whether you choose to have
the storybook style or traditional layout and design... you can use any album
you'd like. Coffee table (flush mount) albums are commonly used for the
storybook style presentation, but it looks great with traditional style
photographs. With
the flush mount album, photographs are laminated to thin pages, which are then
bound just as a library book would be.
The traditional style album allows you to slip the photographs into the page. This album looks wonderful with a storybook style photograph or traditional images. One advantage is that you can change the order of the pictures, or replace them as you desire. A third kind of album is the one which looks like a flush mount album, but allows for pages to be replaced. The pictures are mounted on the front and back of a page and then secured in the album. If you damage a photograph or just want to replace one, you can take the page out and put new photographs on the front and back, and replace that page.
All albums come in a variety of sizes... some as small as 3.5 inches square up to big 15 inches square (price varies with size). Many bride's families like having a smaller album... usually in the area of 5x5 inches to 8x8 inches. These albums will be less expensive than the full size books. Prices don't vary with the style or manufacturer of the book.
The type album you get has no connection to the style or number of photographs at your wedding. You don't have to decide what album you want until after the wedding!
We are currently using three manufacturers:
Renaissance... This album allows you to slip photographs in and replace them if you ever desire. It comes two ways... bound pages or removable pages. Each page has about 1/2 inch border. This is a traditional album, but it looks similar to the new coffee table style book. Turnaround time is about two weeks once you approve the layout and design.
PictoBooks... These are flush mount/bound albums (the picture goes all the way to the edge of the page). This is often referred to as a coffee table style book. Turnaround time is about six weeks once you approve the layout and design. Each book is individually bound by the manufacturer.
TopFlight/Premira... This is a bound book with removable pages. More like a flush mount book than a traditional album. Each page has a border of about 1/8 inch. Turnaround time is about two weeks once you approve the layout and design.

The Premira Album looks a lot like the flush mount album... except the photos don't quite come to the edge of the page. This may be an advantage for some people. The photo could be less likely to be picked or damaged in page turning. The edge of the page is actually plastic, much more durable than an exposed edge of a photograph. The pages also feature a reinforced corner, further strengthening the edges.
As with any album, you can use a storybook style layout and design... or you can have a traditional look. The choice is yours. The albums will look lovely no matter what style you prefer!
